I know this is a long video, but I tried to do it as brief as possible. This is an old video (quality is crap), and I believe I made a mistake or two since it had been so long since I'd made one. Basic needs: Scissors Photo album Fabric Batting Cardstock or poster board Hot glue gun & glue sticks Lace Ribbon Embellishments Time. Once it is done, you have a beautiful, custom made photo album. I've made them for weddings, baby books, and even recipe books (if you use the iron on vinyl, it makes them waterproof on the outside). Use your imagination--let it go wild :)
Preparing and Guarding a Photo AlbumApr 07, 2012
This is the final step in making a Photo album/ scrap book. The old method was cumbersome: sewing signatures with tab/guards already cut, and then having to pack the book out with loose scrap paper for the normal binding operations like putting the book into a press. Making a book in the usual way and cutting the guards after binding saves a lot of time and eliminates worry about the packing moving out of position.

The front and back covers are made from a Pepsi box. The measurements are 4 3/4 by 6 1/2 inches and the spine is 1/2 inch. The outside paper measures 12 by 8 inches and the inside paper measures 10 by 6 1/4 inches. I bought a cheap photo album at my local Dollar General and cut off the covers to use the photo pages. Before any one asks where the sound is, there is no audio. You can expect more and better videos in the future! Leave a comment if you have any thoughts, suggestions, ideas for future videos, etc.
